Dowsing for Lost Objects

Today we’re going to learn how to find lost objects using dowsing. This is a great skill to have if you’re always misplacing your keys or sunglasses!

How to use dowsing rods to find lost objects?

One way to find lost objects is by using dowsing rods. To do this, you will need two metal rods, such as copper or aluminum, that are about the same length and width. Hold one rod in each hand with your arms outstretched in front of you. Focus your thoughts on the lost object and start walking forward. The rods should cross each other when you’re directly over the item.

Step by step process (with example)

First, you’ll need a locator rod. You can purchase one online or at a metaphysical store, or you can make your own from a wire hanger or copper pipe. Once you have your dowsing rod, hold it in front of you with both hands and focus your attention on the object you’re trying to find.

Next, start walking around the area where you think the object may be located. As you walk, mentally repeat the question, “Where is my lost object?” The dowsing rod will begin to move when it’s over the object you’re looking for.

When the dowsing rod moves, stop and look around to see if you can spot the lost object. If you’re still having trouble finding it, ask the dowsing rod to show you where it is by moving in a particular direction. For example, you could say, “Move to the left if I’m getting closer to my lost object.”

Keep following the dowsing rod’s movements until you find your lost item!

How to find lost objects with a pendulum?

If you don’t have a dowsing rod, you can use a pendulum to find lost objects. To do this, hold the pendulum over a map of the area where you think the object may be located (Note: if you don’t have a map, skip to the next section.) As you focus on your question, “Where is my lost object?” the pendulum will begin to swing in a particular direction.

Follow the direction of the pendulum’s swing until it indicates that you’re over the area where the lost object is located. Then, scan the area to see if you can spot the item. If you’re still having trouble finding it, ask the pendulum to show you where it is by swinging in a particular direction. For example, you could say, “Swing north if the object is north of here, swing south if it’s south of here, swing east if it’s east of here, and swing west if it’s west of here.”

Dowsing to find lost objects: what if you don’t have a map?

There are a few different ways to find lost objects without a map. The easiest way is with a pendulum. To do this, you will need a light weight object that can swing freely, such as a key on a string or a pendant on a chain.

Hold the pendulum above the center of the area where you think the lost object may be. Focus your thoughts on the object and ask the pendulum to show you where it is. The pendulum should start to swing in one direction or another. If it doesn’t move, try asking it again or moving to another location.

Once the pendulum starts swinging, you can follow its movement to see if you can spot the item. If you’re not sure what you’re looking for, you can ask the pendulum to show you a sign when you’re getting close. For example, you could ask it to swing in a circle when you’re near the object.

Keep in mind that dowsing is not always an exact science, so you may not find your lost object right away. However, with a little practice, you should be able to use this method to locate missing items!
